Warning: This Sims blog post contains major spoilers for the Strangerville Sims 4 expansion pack.
I’m so ready for this to be OVER. For one thing, I feel like Cordelia is running out of time to find love and live happily ever after. I would really like to clean up the Strangerville situation and give her time to live her life.
The next step was to put together a Dream Team to go fight the Plant Mother. I invited over the three Sims who like Cordelia the most: Kristian Ham, Katrina Caliente, and that weird half-hair lady. They all crowded in to Cordelia’s tiny trailer.
Having farmed 15 more Spore Clusters to create three more doses of vaccine, I then had Cordelia vaccinate each of them in turn. (As you may recall, in The Sims you get vaccinated by having a glass of vaccine thrown in your face.)
Please note Katrina in the background. I see you in there, Katrina! Standing in the bathroom all Blair Witch. Stop it.
Kristian had no idea what was coming, even though it had literally just happened to the only other two people there.
After vaccinating them, Cordelia had to speak to each one and ask them to join her to attack the Plant Mother.
They agreed, although they weren’t very enthusiastic about it. Look at this bunch.
SORRY TO INTERRUPT YOUR PLANS TO ATTEND ANOTHER RAVE, KRISTIAN. I’m just TRYING TO SAVE EVERYONE’S LIFE, is all.
I trooped them down to the sub-basement of the secret lab.
Where we fought the Plant Mother. AND LOST. Quite badly, in fact.
Why? Because I wasn’t aware that Cordelia needed to vaccinate herself, too. So now I have to do the whole process all over again.
Also, this all happened on Winterfest. In hindsight, maybe that’s why the team was so unenthusiastic. After they got their ass kicked by the Plant Mother, and everyone left, Santa came to visit Cordelia.
I hope he understands?
