I have a lot in mind for the Growing Together expansion pack coming Thursday, March 16. What would you do before you had a bunch of babies? Take a vacation, probably! Let’s do that.
I was glad I booked them the swankiest cabin in Granite Falls, because it rained the entire time they were there.
I made Morgan brave the risk of lightning strike to go fishing. I really wanted them to catch a salmon to stock the pond at home.
It was a tense few hours of fishing, and Morgan had no way to know or appreciate the long-term strategy at work. But after catching lots and lots of junk, they finally caught a salmon and I let them scamper back to the cabin.
Morgan and Joaquin spent a lot of time just hanging around talking to each other. It looked nice.
Then a neighbor came over and they spent the rest of the day dancing to the radio.
Morgan loves the Summer Strut radio station, which was a deliberate choice on my part. Summer Strut is the best radio station in the game. As supporting evidence for this statement, please know that in the previous screenshot, they are dancing to Nelly singing “It’s Getting Hot in Herre” in Simlish. Yes, really! (The Sims franchise has a long history of inviting artists to record Simlish versions of their songs for the game. Off the top of my head, this includes Katy Perry, 5 Seconds of Summer, Janelle Monae, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore.)
