Bowling and Spy Games

The next morning, Cordelia sat on her sad little twin bed and ate a grilled cheese sandwich all alone, and it broke my heart a little.

Strangerville doesn’t offer much in the way of venues for meeting people, so I downloaded this awesome bowling alley by GeneralForce59 in the Gallery.

Cordelia needs to gather 15 pieces of evidence to compile into a Secret Dossier. There are a few ways to do this, and for a while I was trying the most straightforward: talk to people until they gave up the goods.

It wasn’t working.

But along the way, Cordelia tried bowling.

She was, uh… not great at it.

Next, I had her apply to the Partihaus club, which sounded like a good way to meet people. She soon received a text asking her to come hang out with them. If things went well, she could then apply to be a member.

I was hoping this would advance her Strangerville goals, but it was just a bunch of club kids. Also, why would I want to apply to be a member of a group of club kids?

Cordelia seemed to feel the same way. She couldn’t get anyone to dance with her. At one point I had her try to start a dance battle with Geoffrey Landgraab but he got mad and walked away.

I finally gave up this approach, and decided to take a sneakier route. You can buy bugs from the computer at this weird desk that came with her pre-furnished home.

You plant the bugs on other Sims, “Kick Me” sign-style, then go home to listen in on them from the desk.

Soon this town’s secrets will be mine!
