Happy new year – happy new DECADE! I can’t believe I’ve been blogging about the Splines for 11 years now. Time flies, doesn’t it?
I started out the new year with a terrible fright. I fired up The Sims 4 for the first time since I replaced my computer a few months ago. To my horror, I couldn’t find the save files. I thought my Splines were gone forever!
I eventually found the save files. I had put them on my Dropbox, but in a place I didn’t think to look for them. Anyway, take this as your periodic reminder to back up your Sims saves. On Windows, it’s the Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 4 \ saves directory.
We return to Cordelia to find her waking up in a terrible mood. I made her stand next to the “Hang in there, kitty” poster because their expressions match.
Cordelia and Darren’s sleep cycles are all out of whack. Here they happened to both be awake at the same time, although it was 1 a.m. so that’s not much of a win.
Soon Cordelia crashed, and Darren was wide awake… and all on his own as a toddler. Eep.
It didn’t take long for his mood to turn sour.
While Cordelia slept, he made a terrible mess in the kitchen.
Then he danced himself back into a good mood. Phew!
And finished out the night playing quietly by himself with the toy box.
