The next item on the “24 While 24” Sims Checklist Challenge was to befriend the Grim Reaper. This turned out to be easier than I thought it would be!
Used to be, if you wanted to talk to the Grim Reaper, someone had to die first. Either a person or a pet. I have lost the taste for murder since I built a machine for murdering Sims, so I wasn’t thrilled about taking that route.
Next, I considered adopting a bunch of elderly animals. This feels like a kind thing to do, and they tend to die quickly. But it’s a huge bummer every time.
As I strategized, I idly scrolled through Morgan’s Relationship panel. Of course the Grim Reaper was there, because Morgan had seen death several times. I clicked on the Grim Reaper’s icon and found that in The Sims 4, you can not only text and call the Grim Reaper directly, but also invite him for a sleepover.
Problem solved! In the weirdest possible way! That’s my favorite!
I would love to know what the Grim Reaper carries in his overnight bag, but that’s not how it works.
They had fun! Like everyone else, the Grim Reaper can’t resist playing with a lump of clay.
He took it in stride when they had dinner while a bunch of farm animals wandered through the kitchen.
We didn’t have a chess board, so they played ping-pong instead.
Morgan won that game 3-1, by the way!
Presto!
