Here we are, minding our own business one day, when suddenly Cordelia gets an invitation to the exclusive, invite-only Paragons club.
I haven’t done much with clubs, so I was curious to see what it was all about.
Cordelia and I left Darren at home, practicing guitar in the carport before school.
We arrived at the club hangout and found… all the members of the Paragon club standing outside, in the snow, in their swimsuits????
What the actual fuck, is what I wondered. And what Cordelia seems to be wondering as well.
I poked around in the UI until I found the club details. The Paragon club rules are:
- Drink coffee
- Try on outfits
- Be mean to Renegades
Hold up a minute. There are competing clubs in The Sims 4 called the Paragons and the Renegades??? Hmm… sounds familiar!
As soon as I saw the bit about trying on outfits, I panicked. I quickly sent Cordelia to Create-A-Sim (CAS) and checked all her fashion choices. I had never bothered to set her formal outfits, so I created these looks for her.
Then, because apparently I’m afraid of being judged by the cool and fashionable kids even in a video game where I myself am not the one being judged, I had her fix herself an espresso.
Come to find out, the “try on outfits” thing means that the club members choose random clothes from a closet, and then everyone stands around and talks about it.
All that time I spent googling for cute outfits and meticulously recreating them for Cordelia, and she’s just going to try on random clothes? Great.
What???
NO.
Okay, that’s it – I’m shutting this down RIGHT NOW.
But not before I had her take a selfie with the club president, Sofia.

It wasn’t me, I swear! This is the premade community pool in Windenburg.
