I set Molly Jr. up at the most expensive dorm at Britechester University. Considering how much the housing cost, I was annoyed that it looked so dreary.
The first thing I do in a new living situation is add a bunch of ceiling lights so I can take decent screenshots. Imagine my dismay when I learned you can’t switch to Build/Buy Mode in an occupied University dorm lot!
This presented a challenge for decorating Molly Jr.’s room. She didn’t have time to pack before her abrupt departure from home, and she didn’t have a laptop computer. I was faced with a challenge: decorating a college student’s dorm room solely with items you can buy from your smartphone or from kiosks in-world.
I bought some finished cross-stitch hoops from the Plopsy app. This portrait of Alice Crumplebottom is my favorite.
I found a cute snow globe and added that to her desk. It wasn’t much, but it was better than nothing.
Then I bought a bunch of outfits for her on the Trendi app. I definitely feel that “experimenting with weird outfits” is crucial to the university experience.
That and homework. Lots and lots of homework!
