I was relieved to return to a Sim I actually like playing. Molly Jr. is college-bound to finish the last Sims “24 While 24 Checklist Challenge.” While I wait for her application to be accepted, why not go on a date with a Gallery Sim?
The Cupid’s Corner dating app matches you with seven Sims every 12 hours. Three of them are pre-made, three are generated randomly, and one is a player-made Sim from the Gallery.
(Obviously, this has resulted in a cottage industry of players posting Shrek clones to the Gallery. I keep hoping to get matched with Shrek!)
The player-made Sim in this batch is Tomoe Kun. Tomoe is from a manga and anime series called Kamisama Kiss, or so Google tells me.
I assume this explains why he has fox ears and fantastic eyeliner. I don’t actually know.
I salute the thirsty Kamisawa Kiss fan who created this elegant man, and I promise to take good care of him! Even though he gave Molly Jr.’s hand-knit panda hat some serious side-eye.
Since it was winter in-game, and I was feeling mischievous, I sent the two of them on an ice skating date. What better way to embarrass yourself to death than to go ice skating on a first date?
Back at the main house, we are having a significant gnome problem. I ignored the Harvestday tradition of appeasing the gnomes, and suddenly they’re everywhere.
Molly Jr. returned home from her date to find her acceptance letter! She enrolled in Britechester University’s Biology program. Immediately, with no fanfare or chance for goodbyes, the game picked her up and transported her to college.
I don’t know why I should be surprised at this abrupt transition. You would think I would be used to this sort of thing by now, but no.
