Rave reviews of the Royalty & Legacy expansion pack lured me back into the game. I started by pulling Guy Spline out of the family and setting him up as the founder of the Splines Legacy. Add a new girlfriend, Aspen, and we were off to a great start.

There’s a lot to like about this expansion pack. The new sword-fighting skill is fun!

I sent them to Tartosa for the proposal and wedding. This was a mistake. Tartosa is still hella broken. I regret my decision.
But… hold up, is that a cheese fountain? Is that a thing? Yes it is. I must have one in real life!

The best thing I can say about his proposal is that it happened.

Sunset is romantic, right? The beautiful golden hour light helps balance out her gray sweatpants and his orange slides. I hope.
The wedding was also a mess. Father Winter was supposed to marry them, but I couldn’t summon him to the wedding arch. I couldn’t get the wedding arch to work at all, actually. Guy and Aspen ended up marrying each other in a quiet corner of the party, which was unexpectedly charming.

I looked at a bunch of castles on the Gallery and researched making my own. In the end I decided I wanted them to have a comfortable but humble home. I moved them into the smallest house in the new world, then updated all the furnishings.

Guy and Aspen got to work making an heir.

I used the Random Wikipedia Page link to name the baby. Please welcome 1743 Schmidt Spline!

Excuse me – Lady 1743 Schmidt Spline!
